Apophyllite Marshy Green

An outstanding specimen of the highly coveted "Marshy Green" apophyllite, regarded among collectors as one of the finest examples from this celebrated and limited discovery of more than two decades ago. Distinguished by its exceptional luster, remarkably isolated crystal arrangement, and unusual crystal habit, the specimen showcases beautifully developed rectangular and cubic crystals whose crisp geometric forms evoke the appearance of finely cut emeralds. The crystals command immediate attention, displaying a sculptural presence and aesthetic refinement rarely encountered in apophyllite specimens.

The crystals exhibit rich dark green to teal coloration, a characteristic attributed to inclusions of celadonite within the crystal structure. This distinctive color palette, combined with the rarity of the occurrence, has established Marshy Green apophyllite as one of the most desirable varieties among collectors of fine Indian zeolites.

The specimen's nontraditional crystal development further distinguishes it from more typical examples of the species. Its precise geometry, exceptional transparency, and brilliant luster create a sophisticated visual balance that rewards examination from every angle.

Combining exceptional color, extraordinary luster, uncommon crystal habit, and provenance from a renowned historical find, this specimen represents a classic and highly collectible example of one of the most distinctive apophyllite varieties ever discovered.
